CONTEXT: Every September, this company holds an annual convention in a different European country, bringing together managers and directors to thank them for their performances during the year and discuss the objectives of the upcoming year.

 

CHALLENGE: Impress participants used to attending conventions abroad, providing them with a complete experience with wow factor without staying far from France.

 

BRIEF/NEEDSSOLUTIONS/BENEFITS
Hold the event in a unique setting offering easy access and proximity for scheduled activities, meetings and leisure. The Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort was selected for its seaside location and proximity to the Monte-Carlo Beach and the Sporting Monte-Carlo.
Welcome and manage 400 attendees during the 3-day event.One contact person from Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer was specially assigned to all aspects of the event.
Have a large conference room big enough to accommodate all attendees using cabaret style seating.The Salle des Etoiles at the Sporting Monte-Carlo was used. This prestigious 975 square metre banquet hall has a 7-metre ceiling, a 200 square metre stage and built-in high-tech equipment.
- Outdoor lunch in the hotel to be able to welcome guests as they arrive.        

 

 

- Dinner party near the hotel so guests can walk.        

 

 

 

- Gala dinner for a memorable last night in a venue where large-scale entertainment is possible.

- Buffet lunch at the hotel’s sand-bottom lagoon with an incredible view of the Mediterranean Sea.    

 

- Cocktail reception orchestrated by Michelin-starred Chef Paolo Sari, at Le Deck, an exceptional venue at the Monte-Carlo Beach. Cruise theme party by the hotel’s Olympic-size pool until 2am.    

 

- Transformation of the Salle des Etoiles at the Sporting Monte-Carlo after the meeting. Guests entered the gala from the stage, the curtain opened and then the sunroof overlooking Monaco. Until 5am.          

Organise a day-long exceptional incentive activity à la carte, while staying at the hotel.Four activity programmes were organised for participants to choose from:  

 

- Beach and relaxation: Private hire of part of the Monte-Carlo Beach Club’s private beach and pontoon with private unlimited access to water sports, volleyball court, Monte-Carlo Country Club tennis courts and lunch at the Monte-Carlo Beach restaurant overlooking the sea.  

 

- Yachting: Ten Vandutch boats were hired and left the pontoon at Monte-Carlo Bay for a “land and sea” race on the Mediterranean coastline. Lunch stop in Villefranche sur Mer where local products were tasted on paths along the sea.  

 

- Culture: Discovery of Monaco through its emblematic institutions and personalities. Lunch at the Salon Bellevue on the first floor of the Café de Paris overlooking the legendary Place du Casino.  

 

- Car rally: Forty collector’s convertibles were hired and left the privately hired Monte-Carlo Beach car park on an escapade in the hinterland and a panoramic lunch.

The next day, to great effect and under a big, blue sky, the 10 Vandutch boats arriving at the hotel pontoon and the 40 collector’s convertibles waiting for drivers at the Beach car park offered an original and exclusive way to explore land and sea.       Finally, the Salle des Etoiles was the perfect setting for our unforgettable Gala evening. Opening the ceiling to reveal a starry sky was the perfect way to begin the live concert of the greatest stars of the 80s. A truly incredible moment that perfectly summed up our wonderful 3 days with you. From behind the scenes, we could tell how very hard everyone was working to ensure that every moment was sublime.
