Cooking Classes


With over a century’s expertise in gastronomy proudly maintained by Michelin-starred chefs and award-winning establishments, the Monte-Carlo SBM Resort offers you an opportunity to share in some closely guarded secrets.  On the programme:



At the Hôtel de Paris, for four to ten persons

  • Cookery demonstration with one of the chefs of the Hôtel de Paris, in the Ravel – Debussy kitchens.
  • Morning welcome with coffee, tea, orange juice and Viennese pastries, followed by the demonstration.
  • Presentation of a chef’s hat and apron, then creation of a dish or pastry with a detailed presentation of the products, techniques, tips etc.
  • Each demonstration revolves around a specific theme or seasonal products.
  • Lunch in the Grill or Côté Jardin, depending on the season.

At the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort, Las Brisas restaurant, for up to seven persons

  • A relaxed introductory briefing around a “fine tea” and home-made biscuits.
  • Start of the workshop under the direction of Marcel Ravin and his team in the highly professional setting of the Monte-Carlo Bay kitchens.
  • At 7.30 pm, guests arrive so that the pleasure of tasting can be shared with someone special.
  • Champagne tasting.
  • Return to the kitchen to prepare the entrées.
  • Move to the table to savour your creations.

At the Monte-Carlo Beach, for six to twenty persons

  • Arrival at Le Deck and briefing over breakfast.
  • Presentation of note pads and technical sheets.
  • Distribution of chefs’ hats and aprons.
  • Three workshops in the kitchen: entrée, hot dish and pastry.
  • Shared aperitif on the terrace.
  • Tasting the prepared dishes in the Salon Eileen Gray or the Le Deck restaurant.
  • Presentation of diploma and gourmet souvenir.
